Agreed. It's not like we can do anything about it once it happens. Moving is not an option. Getting up after a cat has chosen you as its seat is against religion - all religions. You have to stay there and do your duty, and since this experience is universal to all people, it only makes sense to get paid for it. Agreed.

Seriously. Having openly affectionate cats is the best thing in the world. It really is. But it does come with unexpected middle of the night wake up calls, because that's the most comfortable time for them to purr apparently. And also with many scratches. That are made of love.
