carolinelakehouse Thank you for taking in your grandmother's companion dog. There are so many pets that sadly end up in shelters when their owners pass and no family who will do what you did. They often end up being euthanized as if the loss of their owner and being displaced weren't enough. You and your hubby stepped up. I am sure your grandmother is resting in peace knowing you are taking good care of her dog. Thank you and for sharing with us.

Ilsmithok Side note: we have a senior dog who walks stiffly as Gracie does. Our vet recommended Librela for him and it's been a game changer for his sore joints. Highly recommend!

alleybubb What a beautiful montage of her journey straight to your heart. What a trooper she is. She's been through a lot, but she saved the best for last. You've been amazing for her!

theresatecson_realtor This is what families do they step up for one another and take care of their own

oc_ash_84 Your Grandmother helped raise an amazing person. Gracie knows that the same love they took care of her her whole life is in you through your Grandmother. Thank you!

twalatrust Bless you for not using all the usual excuses people come up with for abandoning or euthanizing dogs. They truly are open to love and they give it back a hundred times over.

christine_gardner2 Thank you for taking in your grandmas dog. So many dogs end up in shelters and so confused because no one will take on their family members pets. What a heart warming story. You are an Angel!
