When an Australian woman noticed two kittens in her backyard she noticed something very special. The two were inseparable. They seemed to do everything together. When she went to go give them some food, she noticed something abnormal...
Sometimes animals are just joined together at the hip. Inexplicably, even different species can form an unbreakable bond from first sight. I wonder if humans could connect on such a basic level from birth, what would the world look like today. There would be a lot more best friends, thats for sure. But if you love all things adorable, and just need to get through the day, these adorable kittens will turn your frown upside down, and get your day going the right way.
Their eyes. Luckily, the kind hearted woman reached out to local rescues for help. That's when Inner City Strays, a non-profit association that are trying to reduce kitten and cat strays, came to help.
Although at full capacity already, Inner City Strays could not turn down these kittens. Diana Dammery of the association made the decision and took in the kittens. She knew the twins needed help, and fast.
The twins were named Stevie and Isaac. They did unfortunately have something abnormal with their eyes. They both had deformed eyelids that turned inward and rubbed against their eyes. Isaac also had ulcers on his eyes, while Stevie was sadly left completely blind. Once at the vet, it was determined that surgery was necessary.
Luckily, the surgery went well, and Isaac was able to keep one good eye.
The rescues were ecstatic to also report that "Less than 24 hours after their big surgeries, Stevie and Isaac started playing like nothing ever happened."
Something even cuter?
Almost as if connected at the hip. Since Stevie is completely blind, his brother Isaac is his main guide and support. And Isaac doesn't fail! Even if apart and Stevie cries, Isaac comes running!
As the two grew older, they matured into using only their senses to help guide them. You wouldn't even realize they were blind by the way they roam around or play with other cats.
It's no surprise that the two were adopted quickly into a forever home. Their new parents even said, "They are spoiled rotten, and their brotherly love is as strong as ever!"
Their forever parents decided to rename the twins as well. Now Budhha and Mogwai. The twins even have their ownInstagram. (And they are so cute!)
Their forever parents even said, ""We love them so much," their forever humans reported. "We feel so lucky to have found them. They are so beautiful and bring us endless love. We had wanted cats for a long time but never would have thought that we would end up with cats this perfect."
And we just have to agree! This just proves that nothing is stronger than a sibling bond!
