Rider, the military doggo, is the definition of a good boy. He did his duty in the service with his hooman pawtner, only to get injured on the job. Unfortunately, Rider learned that his injury wouldn't fully heal, so he was forced into retirement at the young age of 6.
Little did Rider know that this would be the best thing to ever happen to him.
Rider got to become a stay-at-home house dog. At lucky for him, his hooman pawtner was the one to adopt him, so they get to be together all the time. At first, Rider was a little skeptical of his new family and their other retired service doggo, and he spent all his time with his pawtner, who he now refers to as his dad (tears). But it didn't take Rider long at all to warm up to his new family.
He didn't know just how good this normal doggo life was. His new fam took him to get his first pup cup and to the pet store to pick out his own toys. They even celebrated his 7th birthday together with presents and treats galore. Rider has finally embraced the retired life and is living out the rest of his days in bliss.
