Gabby Giffords Resigns from Congress
Yesterday Arizona Representative Gabrielle Giffords released this video announcing she is stepping down from Congress. Giffords is recovering from a brain injury caused when Jared Lee Loughner opened fire at her rally at a Tucson Safeway store in 2011, killing six. Considering she was clinging to life just one year ago, it's truly remarkable to see in this video how far she has come. Thank you for your service, Representative Giffords.
