'Puppy Play Live' Lets Facebook Users Interact with Dogs Up for Adoption
In order to draw attention to the many dogs that are up for adoption, 'Puppy Play Live' was created for Social Tees Animal Rescue by four interns from BBH New York on a budget of just 1,000.The livestream sessions invite Facebook users to log on and "interact" with the pets by performing different actions on Facebook. Likes, loves and emojis from users on the social network are translated to real-world belly rubs, hugs and interactions with emoji chew toys. On top of this, comments from users such as "He's such a good boy!" were read aloud to the dogs so that they could receive some of the love that was being directed their way.

ifestyles are only getting busier which is subsequently leaving less time for pet owners to spend time with their furry friends, so the Anthouse Robot Pet Companions are engineered to connect them together whenever desired. The robot works to let owners "telesocialize" with their pet via an Internet connection to ensure that a long day at the office doesn't have to mean leaving their pet completely unattended. The Anthouse Robot Pet Companions are controlled via the accompanying app for iOS or Android and connect through your home WiFi network to let you see your pet in real-time, snap photos, take videos and communicate via the built-in speaker. The robot is also able to be used for playing to keep your pet entertained when you aren't around.

Dog Friendly Podcast Channels
Audible for Dogs is a new service offered by the proclaimed Podcast channel that's helping anxious furry friends feel more comfortable. Leaving your canine companion at home while you go to work can be an upsetting experience, especially if your pup is nervous or noisy without your presence. To help dogs relax, Audible is offering a series of Podcasts designed specifically for calming animals. The Podcast series is curated by the Dog Whisperer Cesar Milan, whose Dog Psychology Center reported that podcasts are more effective in reducing stress than music. The Podcast titles, which range from 'Born a Crime' by Trevor Noah to 'A Dog's Purpose' by W. Bruce Cameron, were all hand-selected by the dog expert and allegedly contain the right audio profiles to help relax dogs.
