Man Randomly Finds Goldfish Lying On The Grass In His Back Garden, Turns Out It's Still Alive

Out of all animals in the world, when you think about animals doing interesting things, going through interesting experiences, you probably don't think about… fish. But you would be wrong. Yes, you would be. Over out time writing for Animal Comedy, we have seen all kinds of weird things about fish. We have written stories about giant fish who are friends with divers and nag the divers during their expeditions. We have seen stories about fish who cannot swim being saved with home-made lifejackets and continuing to happily live that way. We have even read about a stingray who got pregnant with no males around, and no, she did not get impregnated by a shark or self reproduce, it's much weirder than that.

It's rare for a fish to have a particularly interesting life, but when they do… they really do. And that's certainly true for Alice (aka Lazarus, aka The Fish Who Lived).

This… we have to say, is by far one of the strangest stories that we have come across on the internet in a while. We see weird stuff on the internet all the time, of course, but a goldfish… randomly appearing in the middle of someone's backyard with no water around? Nope.

And the fish living on top of it all? Not something that we could have made up in our wildest imagination. We can only really say here… that we're glad this person checked to see if the fish was alive, because we're not sure that would have been many people's first instinct. And that he saved the fish of course. May it live many happy years.
