The Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies changed the superhero genre for good. In the 90s, Marvel was virtually a worthless intellectual property as far as films were concerned. DC Comics made some great Batman movies with Tim Burton, but other than that, it was stinker after stinker with movies like Batman and Robin. Superheros were too campy to be taken seriously, and no Marvel hero had anywhere near the prestige that The Batman did. 

That was until a guy named Sam Raimi came along and changed the entire game. Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 set the stage for what the MCU would become. Those movies were funny, had great characters, felt modern, and gave Spider-Man a whole new life as a character. Not to mention, Spider-Man gave us so many memes; it's inconceivable how many memes came from that one movie. If you love Spider-Man and the MCU, then these Marvel memes should be a welcome addition to your day.
