Kindhearted Hikers Encounter Abandoned Doggo While Backpacking, She Follows Them Down the Mountain and Straight Into Their Hearts (Video)

Little known fact about us, dear readers, is that we love to hike. At one point, we were going out hiking every weekend with our doggo. We used to find a lot of cool things on our hikes - a new kind of flower, cool rocks, even a sighting of a rare bird or two. But, one thing we never found was a stray doggo (thankfully). In this wholesome animal video, a pair of hikers encounter a very thin, abandoned doggo. They fed her some pizza, and the rest was history.

The doggo followed them for three days down the mountains, and then they decided they wanted to take her home. They got all her paperwork and started her rehabilitation. Seven years later, she's the best pal they could have ever dreamed of having. Scroll down to see the whole video and read their story below. We love a happy ending!

    stormyxx.06 I cannot stand people that leave these beautiful pups behind. Not only do they abandon them, they purposely leave them in the mountains and woods in the middle of nowhere cause they don't want them anymore. It's pure evil. When I get rich, I'm opening a huge shelter in the balkans (Bosnia specifically) for all stray animals. I hope that they raise the legal fees too. Not everyone deserves to be a pet owner.
