Kind Hooman Rescues Scared Stray Cat in Airport Parking Lot, Turns Out To Be A Cat Lost By The Airline Over 9 Years Ago and Results In a Wholesome Reunion

This is literally every pet owner's worst nightmare. Traveling with your pets can be a journey in and of itself, especially when you can't take them with you in the cabin. But, for one reason or another, some people have to do it. Maybe they are moving overseas or don't have a car, but in any case, you have to do what you have to do. One family took their cat with them on the plane, but put them below, and the airline said that they lost the cat. 9 years later, the cat was found in the car rental parking lot.

We don't want to focus on the negatives of this story, the impawtant part is that this cat is now under the care of a loving hooman who will help them live the rest of their life in the comfort of a home.     If this happened to us, you best believe that we would tear that airport apart looking for our fur baby. No one would stand in between us and finding them. It's absolutely horrible, but at least they were found.

I would have sued the... off the company responsible.All those years of wondering what happened, and the utter misery and bewilderment of the cat. Hope the poor thing gets some love and care for what time remains. This is shocking.

We love animals as if they are members of our family, but according to the law they are possessions and their value would be the cost to replace them with a similar cat. They probably got a few hundred dollars, at best, maybe more if the animals had papers. It breaks my heart, but that is how American law puts a value on pets and other animals.

If I was not allowed to, and this happened, I would have lived. at the airport looking for my cat. The fact that the cat was found in a car rental park near the airport means they most likely never left the area.
