As the 4th of July comes and goes, we see another influx of holiday-based parenting texts that are wild 'n out with Nick Cannon. We always feel some pressure to spend the holidays with our families, no matter how insignificant, and the American holiday smack dab in the middle of the summer is no exception. There are so many opportunities for conflict. Maybe your mom takes a peep at your brand-new bathing suit at the pool and says you're getting a bit fat…that's a weekend-ruining remark if I've ever heard one! Your dad might've forgotten to tell you that you have to find your own transportation to the upstate AirBnB family retreat, which upset you so much that you're unsure if you even still want to go. Holidays bring out the worst in people, and this selection of entertaining and occasionally sad parenting texts is no exception.

    As children were something that I tried so hard to have I realise, thanks to you, that I should never have had children with Father My real love was my husband, who killed himself, and after our long struggle with infertility, I should have called it quits.     Dad We are cleaning out corners of the house and everyone's room. All the earrings that were bought for you in Iceland and jewelry was just tossed under your bathroom sink.     There was nothing to hide essentially. I'm 27 and hardly speak to my mom because she often has outbursts like this when she sees me or my sister doing anything fun or being happy.
