Why does the camera always have to humble you so much? Like, you could be feeling the most confident you've ever felt and strut yourself with your chin up. But then you see the photos your friends post of you from that day or you try to take a selfie and all of a sudden you're looking like Shrek. What's up with that? Is this like an “I'm actually ugly” kind of thing? Or maybe a tad of body dysmorphia? Or is there a conspiracy with the camera companies trying to make us all feel insecure? They keep updating cameras, making everything extra high-definition, and now you can see how big my pores are… Like, is that really necessary? And then you see the group photo and everyone is looking so good, and then you see you in the corner looking like the troll they all have to answer the riddle to in order to cross the bridge… Listen, you're beautiful.
