It's easy to come across a lot of toxic positivity online and in real life. You're socially encouraged not to overly complain about your relationship, job, or life because it can make you sound annoying or ungrateful. Nobody wants to be friends with someone complaining constantly, but being negative about those things is much more socially acceptable than actual rage. Anger is the most pathologized and least socially encouraged of all the negative emotions, and it's not for naught. Imagine if we went around screaming when our baristas messed up our orders or a passerby stepped on our toes. We'd be more than just Karens: we'd be social pariahs.

I'm not saying we should be raging all the time. It's just as unhealthy to constantly let anger out as it is to hold it in. It's important to channel your rage into something silly, like memes. If you're big mad, these memes might represent your mental state.
