If you were a Hogwarts student, how would you spend your weekends?
  • 02
Let's say you're in 6th year and of age. Would you have a game of Quidditch with the lads? Drinks some pints at the Three Broomsticks. Apparate to London to hit on some Muggles?

frogishere_ 5 days ago Yeah, you're only allowed to go to hogsmede on specific weekends but you best believe i wouldn't miss a single one of those trips. other than that if it's sunny i'd hang out by the lake and watch the squid.

or hangout in the cozy common room on a snowy/rainy day just reading or playing chess. Maybe fly a broomstick around the grounds for a bit.

That's only accessible for 2 or so years of one's life unless one comes back to the school as a faculty member. I would've been spending every waking hour at the restricted section. From Dark Arts

to Elemental magic, I'd have been reading every single book in that section. By the time I'd have graduated, I'd hope to be more knowledgeable than Riddle was when he graduated.

VonDOOM 5 days ago Found my people. I would study continuously in potions, charms, transfiguration, and defence against the dark arts/dueling, with a little herbology thrown in. Then once I'd reached a highly proficient level I'd retire to North America, and live in California hidden among muggles.

mttxy 5 days ago 6th year has N.E.W.T.-level classes, so I guess I'd spend most of the weekends studying, going to Hogsmead during the allowed days and occasionally going to the lake to talk with people.

that I could take as much knowledge with me as possible. Maybe I could even enchant some portraits to spy for me, creating a network of espionage within Hogwarts. I would construct secret tunnels leading out of Hogwarts that only I know of, with the Room

Legilimency and become an Animagus in secret. I would use my powers to gain knowledge from all the ghosts in Hogwarts. I would also start my journalism career. This is what I would do.
