Let's be real - people get dogs because they want attention. But people who get cats, get them for all sorts of reasons. Some seem to have the cat distribution system on speed dial, some want companionship, and others just want to have a tiny cute criminal in their house, committing all sorts of adorable acts. Whatever your reason, though, we're glad you drank the Kool-Aid and are now a part of the feline family. 

Purrsonally, we adopted our cats because we wanted to be able to travel, but still have someone at home waiting for us to come home to. You can't do that with a dog.
