It is hard to act like you're okay when you're not okay. Whenever I'm feeling absolutely insane, I try to rectify any social consequences of it by leaning into the crazy. When people ask, "How are you doing," I answer, "I am normal," which is objectively the least normal response you could give to that question.
When you are not doing great, you must develop strategies to deal with it. Outside of making jokes about being normal, I find that having things to distract me helps me get through each day. It might not be a long-term solution to the underlying problem, but going out with friends while on edge is much more helpful than hiding in my room all day. If you are one of those people who actually really needs that alone time to feel a little more normal during trying times, these amusing memes might be a welcome distraction.
