The controversial documentary The Sweatbox, filmed by Sting's wife Trudie Styler as part of a deal to feature her husband's songs in the animated feature Kingdom of the Sun, has spent the last 10 years locked up deep inside Disney's dungeons until it suddenly made its way online yesterday.

Never officially released in any form due to its less-than-flattering behind-the-scenes footage, the film follows the troubled production of what would eventually become The Emperor's New Groove.

On the significance of The Sweatbox, Cartoon Brew says: "If any questions remain about why Disney fizzled out creatively and surrendered its feature animation crown to Pixar and DreamWorks, this film will answer them."
