The Funniest Friends Memes of the Week (July 17, 2024)

Many people believe that a man and a woman can't be platonic friends without something sparking between them at some point (and assuming they are both attracted to the opposite gender). 

But countless sitcoms, including Friends, prove time and time again that a group of friends can be assembled by both men and women and not necessarily have everyone developing feelings for each other. So where is the line that you should not cross if you want to remain platonic friends? The answer is, that there probably isn't one, and you can't know for sure that you are not going to develop feelings for your best friend. But it is important to remember that sometimes ruining a friendship is worth it if it means having a chance to have an actual romantic relationship with that friend.

You can probably guess which friends-to-lovers trope I'm thinking about from Friends, and I am sure you can agree that it was a good thing that they decided to give their relationship a chance. I honestly believe it is one of the best things that happened in the entire show.
