Somehow, this is both one of the saddest and the most wholesome stories that we have come across lately. To think about the amount of stress that this elephant momma had to feel when her baby fell down there to actually faint is insane.

But we are also so happy that it happened in a place where it was safe for these people to come up to her and help her. Which is also not obvious. People rarely step out of their way to help, and this was no easy rescue mission. Gives us hope for humanity, honestly, seeing people do things like this. So we're thankful.
