Some may know the medical cone as the lampshade of shame, the plate of disgrace, or whatever else you animal pawrents like to call it. It's never a fun time for our fuzzy friends when they have to wear giant discs around their heads for prolonged periods of time. How are they supposed to lick their bellies or scratch their snouts? I know, I know. That's the reason these contraptions exist in the first place. But I can't say I'd be happy if I had to wear the cone of shame.
But sometimes it's very hissterical seeing our little fuzzy bois and gals splooting on the floor in a defeated manner. I know we shouldn't, but this is the cone of shame! The equivalent of a medieval dunce cap. Though they may get a little antsy wearing these gigantic collar cones, in due time they will be good as new. So, realistically, we can giggle at these pawdorable cat and pup pics all we want. Hamsters and bunnies wear these cones too, you know. Who knew they made cones that tiny?
