We love making "Behind the Scenes" listicles here at Geek Universe. We love seeing 'how the sausage is made' and also enjoy seeing the actors and crew having fun while filming some of cinema's greatest scenes. However, this time we have something very special - A behind the scenes photos from a classic Disney animated movie. Usually animated movies just show the voice-over actors during their recording sessions, and sometimes we get to see the animators working on the animation process.
This time we have actual photos from the actual set of an animated movie - Disney's 1951 adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. Part of the production of that movie utilized an early version of motion capture, where entire scenes were filmed with in live action, which the animators later used as reference, Sometimes even rotoscoping frame by frame to reproduce the movement of Alice's dress and hair physics.
