Some cats are not meant to be separated. We know that. We have a special name for cats like these. These cats are bonded pairs. These cats are not to be separated under any circumstances. It would be a cat-astrophe to do so. No matter what, bonded pair cats will find their way back to one another.
Even in situations like the one we have for you today - when one cat out of a bonded pair gets adopted, the universe will make sure that the cats will find their way back to their other half. And you know what? We are sure that everyone will be happier because this happened - the adorable kittens and their pawrents. Because, well… now, they have double the kittens, which is double the trouble, yes, but also double the cuteness and double the wholesomeness and double the shenanigans. Life will never, ever be boring again.
And this is why we say that the cat distribution system works literally purrfectly. Because clearly, these two kittens were meant to be adopted together. And even though it did not happen right away, these people knew that it had to. So, driving all the way back to pick up the other one is really the minimum that they could do.
Sigh. An iconic picture. We can already tell that this one will live on on the internet for a long, long time. The shock on the black kitten's face. The fondness on the white kitten's face. There could be a cartoon about this, and we would watch it with bated breath.
