‘Your kids deserve better’: After Seeing How Neglectful Sister’s Parenting is, Woman Steps in for the Children, Causing Strain in the Relationship

Welcome back internet enthusiasts. Sibling dynamics could be very difficult. You're not their parent, but it can be difficult to see a sibling drowning under life's pressures, but too prideful and defensive to let you help them. Not to mention seeing that they aren't living up to their role as a parent. Not only are they harming themselves and their own life, they're endangering their children's mental health, physical health, and futures at the same time. 

Take this Reddit piece for example, the original poster's (OP) sister is such a bad mother that it can't be ignored anymore. She ignores all her children to the point where they're unshowered, hungry, getting sick, and the mom doesn't notice any of it. It's not just mean, it's cruel. The worst part is that this woman refuses to change, or let anyone help her. This creates tension between the sisters, but ultimately the children still need a mother.
