If you've been on the Internet as long as I have, you're probably familiar with one of the first LOTR memes out there. Like you, I was there, 3,000 years ago, when the dawn of the age of Men created a goofy video so silly that the entire world had to see it.

If that doesn't immediately make you see Legolas atop the fields of Anduin as he, Gimli, and Legolas traveled 72 leagues trailing the band of Uruk Hai who ensnared Merry and Pippin, then you've stepped into the wrong LOTR chat. As a connoisseur of all things Hobbit-related, I can assure you that this particular masterpiece reminds Lord of the Rings fans of the goofiness and memeability of our favorite Middle Earthian lore. Even Legolas, an ancient, wise, and esteemed Elf of the Woodland Realm, can be seen as a Silly Billy in our funniest fantasies.
So while we revere Lord of the Rings in the highest regard and bow at the foot of our hero, J. R. R. Tolkien, let's take a moment away from our busy schedules, our work day, our responsibilities, and enjoy a quick Lembas bread break of LOTR memes that'll remind us to schedule our next 12+ hours of free time to watch all three extended editions: The Fellowship, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.
