Oversharing mom laments having to take her child to therapy instead of sports practice: 'No wonder her kid is in therapy'

We all know that the job of parenting is rarely a walk in the park. No matter what vision you may have of your family life and the future of your kids, there are always going to be obstacles in the way now and then. It's also completely normal to feel overwhelmed, or even mourn an idea or dream about being a parent that never came to be.

However, things can get controversial if a parent decides to take these issues to social media. One mom caused plenty of discussion on Twitter recently after she shared a video about being upset that she was driving her kid to "another therapy session" instead of sports practice. While some people argued that she had a right to complain, others questioned why she felt the need to share this on social media. One thing's for sure, community is important when it comes to parenthood.

    crimson, cpa @crimson_cpa. 14h there is something very important to be said about how parents, especially mothers who are the primary caretakers, should have a community to help them when their kid is mentally ill. but there is also something equally important to be said about how you should not post this.
