Norwegian swimmer Henrik Christiansen delights internet by obsessing over chocolate muffins in the Paris 2024 Olympic village: 'I hereby declare myself the Olympic muffin man'

Ah, the Olympics. If you are somewhat internet-brained, it is highly likely that you don't just enjoy them for the sport. One of the great advantages of social media is that it gives us some insight into what goes on behind the scenes at these kinds of events, and this year one of the athletes to have stolen the show through something other than their sporting prowess is Norwegian swimmer Henrik Christiansen. 

It turns out that this dude has an intense relationship with the chocolate muffins that can be found in the Olympic cafeteria and, much to the delight of many, he is sharing that on TikTok. It's fair to say he's got a few people interested in the baked goods that athletes are supplied with. Let's be real, for those of us who aren't sport-inclined this kind of thing is almost better than actually watching the games as they happen.
