Woman Refuses to Cook for Husband After He Confesses His ‘Work Wife’ Made Him Lunch, Leading to a Dispute When He Calls Her Petty
I think it is incredibly important for every employee to maintain a good relationship with their coworkers. I even believe that you should feel like the people you work with are your friends and be comfortable enough around them to talk about things other than work and business. So if my husband became friends with a female coworker, I honestly would not think much of it. I am not the jealous type, and I trust my husband and his judgment.
That being said, there are points where I definitely do draw the line. If one day my husband returns home with the food I had made him for lunch untouched, and he tells me that he ate the food his female coworker made him instead, that can really flip the switch for me. It is disrespectful, misleading, and simply annoying. So I completely understand this wife's reaction when she decided to stop making her husband food, and I don't think she is being petty whatsoever.
