Thank you for clarifying later on that this cat does not indeed call on its own, but that you call and ask your girlfriend to put the cat on the phone, because… that somehow makes this even funnier. Not going to lie, if this happened to us, we would happily sit in front of our phone and stare at it for 15 minutes - each and every time that this happened.

Whenever you get a cat, it's one of two options - it's either you will get a cat who's so dramatic you have to take it to the vet because it's being dramatic or a cat who will not show you that anything is wrong until something is really, really wrong. And you will have no idea which kind of cat you have until it happens.
