They say you are what you eat. Then it's possible that gym bros are made of bland chicken, protein shakes, and brown rice. Why is this the unofficial meal of trying to gain muscle? Spices don't add calories! There are more vegetables than just broccoli! But gym bros are all about efficiency. They want the protein in, and they want it fast. If that means wolfing down a quart of plain Greek yogurt just to meet your macros, then so be it. But I'm a proponent of mixing it up. Just because you're eating clean doesn't mean you have to sacrifice deliciousness. Cultures around the world have been doing this for centuries. The invention of whey protein doesn't mean that we're doomed to a lifetime of chalky smoothies. Throw some berries in there! Make it tasty!
