‘I want petty revenge’: Woman's neighbor constantly trespasses on her property and installs security cameras pointing directly at her window, authorities get involved

When your neighbor complains to your mother about how you need to mow your grass, you might have a situation on your hands.

  • We've all had our fair share of bad neighbor stories. Whether they have no idea where their property line is, are peeping Toms creeping up in your business, or simply make too much noise, it can be frustrating all around for others who try to put their best foot forward and be the good neighbors they are. It's pretty easy to differentiate between a ‘bad neighbor’ and a good neighbor who does some annoying things. The neighbor in this story is definitely the former.

    A woman purchased a home in May of last year, saying that all of her neighbors have been kind and welcoming with the exception of one, a wife and husband referred to as ‘Jackson’. They are a retired elderly couple, and she expresses that they've been cold and ill-mannered toward her since she moved in. The woman says she's caught the husband staring into her window multiple times and dug through tax records to complain about her unmowed grass to her mother. Talk about senior-level creepy. He then installs security cameras pointing directly at her window, resulting in law enforcement coming to the scene and having him manually take down the cameras one by one.     We also showed the officer footage of the grass before it was mowed, and he said the city wouldn't have done anything about it unless it was upwards of 9 in tall. Jackson had to get up on a ladder and physically uninstall and reinstall both of this cameras in completely different spots to make them comply to the officers request.     Now that this has happened, he's made a point to repeatedly walk infront of my house over and over to set of my camera or intimidate me in addition to sitting outside right on the property line.
