We remember our pre-cat-ownership days. We remember the day that we adopted. Green as grass, innocent and inexperienced, not knowing anything about the troubles that are to come. Back then, when we giggled at cat memes, we did so because we thought they were cute and silly. Now, when we come across funny cat memes, we do not giggle. We laugh. We full-on hissterically laugh. Because we relate. Because we understand the suffering of all those meme-creating cat owners. Now, we understand.

And cat memes have never been funnier to us. Now, they hit completely different. We get them on a purrsonal level now, and we look at our kitties and think: yes, they really are itty bitty criminals living under our roofs, they really do try everything that they can to make our lives more… interesting, and we truly do love them and are obsessed with them - so much that it hurts.

This is indeed true, we can tell you that as cat owners. In the winter, our cats tend to be adorably curled up, conserving heat, but in the summer… the attempt to stretch all the way from this dimension to the next in an attempt to spread the heat out as much as pawssible.
