Stringent newlyweds split opinion with 'controversial' rules they had at their wedding: 'I want my guests to actually remember this day'

Many people believe that their wedding day is going to be one of the most important in their lives. As a result, it's no wonder that couples can get very particular about things and that the bridezilla is such a common phenomenon. It is, after all, a lot of money to be spending on a singular day. It makes it even more important that everything is to the taste of the newlyweds.

That seemed to be the opinion of a bride and groom who caused controversy recently with the rules they put in place when they had their ceremony. Including things like no plus ones and refusing to let the photographer take too many pictures, the internet was split on whether they had been entitled or reasonable. It has to be said, once a wedding stops feeling like a celebration is probably when it is worth rethinking some initial non-negotiables.
