Happy Friday, friends!! We hope that your week is going as purrfectly as ours has been. If it hasn't, don't worry, we have got a treat for you today - something that'll make you smile, something that is purely pawsitive. That's right, it's time to meet the newly adopted faces of the week!
Every single Friday, we bring you a whole new collection of the most wholesome cat adoption stories we have found on the web. We love seeing cats finally finding their furrever homes. It makes us smile every single time, without fail, and we know that the same thing is true for you guys.
Like we do every week, we would like to say thank you to every single person who adopted this week. And an even bigger thank you goes to those of you who adopted the 'impurrfect cats' - the senior cats, the sick cats, the rehomed cats and more. You have not only done something amazing for these cats, but you have also gotten yourself a best friend for life!
"Been a dog family our entire life but my little one was born in love with cats for some reason so when a family member offered us a kitten, we said yes. This is Gwen, my new master."
"He can meow, but every day he chooses violence as his method of communication by destroying plants, bullying his brother, or tearing off the wallpaper. Thor is 13 years old, adopted at eight, and he's all or nothing—either super loving and playful or downright annoying and aggressive. He's also obsessed with stealing bread, any kind of bread. Roast my cat hard."
"He didn't mind my dogs and he was pretty docile. He had no chip but was neutered. Gets along with my pups and is a well behaved house cat. I love him so much. Perfect addition next to my Craiglist Chiweenie and Nextdoor Shorkie (Both rehomes I adopted.) He's such a simple boy too my Orville!"
"Can't handle how cute this lil nugget is, to me she is anything but standard. She's a street cat rescue that was found starving taking care of 5 babies and she has a bum back leg so she can't jump. I adopted her after losing my soul dog this summer and she's helping me feel less alone."
"I got them 5 days apart from the spca, both were the last of their litters to be adopted. Truly blessed to have these lil trouble makers in my life, coming home to them is the best part of my day, I love them so much."
"This is Toffee, she's a torti coloured domestic longhair & she's just over 3 years old. She was abandoned by her previous owners along with 2 others, so she's very timid and a little frightened of everything. This picture was when we first met her yesterday!"
"Hello everyone! I just adopted this Maine coon from the shelter. He was a surrender. He has to eat wet food bc he only has a few teeth left :/ has anyone here had experience with cats with little to no teeth? What do u think is the best wet cat food?"
"He's adjusting well to his new home, but his fur is still a bit rough from his time on the streets. I want to make sure he gets the right food to help his coat become soft and shiny. Any recommendations?"
"So this is Misty (white) Feindel (grey) and Ilenan (tabby). Misty is usually agressive towards other cats and that's why I was scared when I brought Feindel and Ilenan home. However, for some reason, she jumped on those kittens and adopted them right away. Now they're a happy family"
