It's not easy being an itty bitty cutie patootie stray kitten on the streets—even if those streets are in beautiful Greece. You're just too small and need some TLC. Well, that's what this little Greek kitty found while she was wandering the streets for food.
A Finnish couple was on a romantic getaway in Greece to spend time with each other. One day, a scruffy little kitten appeared, and from then on never left their side. They fed the baby, gave it pets and love, and took her to the vet. Finland has strict rules about bringing animals over from other countries, so they weren't able to take her. Brokenhearted, they still made sure she was set. They left her in good care with a shelter that would be dedicated to healing her ailments from being on the streets and to keep her fed and loved.
Luckily, however, they were able to figure out a way to eventually get this baby, whom they named Hera in honor of the Greek Goddess, back home with them. It was going to take several months, but eventually, Hera will have her own pet passport and will join her found-family in Finland furever. A happily evepurr after.
