Infertile Owl’s Lifeless Eggs Get Replaced with 2 Orphaned Chicks, and Her Adorable Reaction Is Complete Shock and Heart-Wrenching Excitement
In times like these, when everywhere that we look, all is we see is drama, is it really surprising that something so wholesome will go so viral? We don't think so. Now, this isn't the first time that we have seen an animal adopt another animal. We have seen cats adopting lynx cubs and raising them alongside their own kittens. We have seen dogs adopting emotional support kittens after their best friend passed. We have even seen a cat adopt a baby otter that has been orphaned.
And yet… all of those things, and today's owl story still hit us so, so hard. We think it's the joy in the momma owl's face. The shock. It's the fact that her eggs were lifeless, and she would have been devastated when they didn't hatch, but instead, she got two orphaned chicks of her own to care for and- yep, here come the happy tears again.

Oh, we did not know that baby owl chicks were this cute. Like- we assumed they were, because all baby animals are cute in our opinion, but we did not expect them to be this friggin' fluffy. They look like they just got fluffed with a towel after a shower, we're obsessed.
