Man’s Demand That Wife Become Stay-at-Home Mom Leads to Crisis as She Insists on 50% of His Company if They Divorce

The cornerstone of each marriage is compromise. However, how would it make you feel if your spouse refused to compromise or give up and you were faced with having to make concessions for the good of the family?

The narrative that follows is the story of a disgruntled wife. The original poster (OP) and her husband have been married for a long time. However, the husband is asking OP to give up her work and become a stay-at-home mother now that they have children together.

OP thought about his request and granted it—but only on one condition—despite her reluctance to give up the career she had worked so hard to establish. If her husband agreed to give her 50% of his business, she would become a stay-at-home mother. She will therefore have stability in the event of a divorce and won't have to worry about going years without a paycheck.

Although OP considered this to be a fantastic middle ground, her best friend had a different idea.
