There is nothing we enjoy more than tricking our cats into doing exactly what we want them to do, and today we are going to share with you a great tip to do the same.

We all know that cats love it when they get away with doing things they are not supposed to do, and they will go out of their way to make your life as difficult as possible. So, we decided to reverse psychology the heck out of the little rascals. For example, Coco loves to scratch and bite furniture she knows she is not supposed to touch, and no matter how hard we try to get her to stop, she always finds a way to ruin our beloved pieces. Yet when it comes to the actual $300 scratching tree we brought her, she never goes near it. So we decided to switch things up. We started putting decorations on the scratching tree and giving it extra attention. Whenever she goes near it, we tell her off, and when she scratches it, we immediately tell her no. All of a sudden, the tree is the most interesting piece of furniture around the house, and she is always near it. She did exactly what we wanted her to, and the little feisty feline has absolutely no idea we have her in our pockets.
