Man Steals His Girlfriend’s Family Heirlooms to Fund His Vacation, She Files a Report and Kicks Him Out
Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. It only takes one significant offense to find out someone's red flags, and usually, they're not lying. We always want to evade seeing the things we don't want to in the people we love, or our partners. But when he or she is making it clear to us, we need to believe them.
Stealing is one red flag that can't be argued out of. It can't be twisted into something redeeming or legitimate, it will always be from an underlying cause that the person isn't good news.
In this Reddit thread, the original poster (OP) is a woman who discovers that her boyfriend, whom she lives with, has stolen her jewelry and family heirlooms in order to fund his vacation. When she approaches him about it, he gaslights her, saying he 'didn't know' it meant so much to her, and that he assumed she would want a vacation more than the jewelry. Ladies, when it looks like a duck, it's a duck.
