High School Students Send Rubber Chicken Into Space

Students at Bishop Union High School in California launched a rubber chicken in a space suit up in a weather balloon. The reason? To test radiation levels in the atmosphere. The chicken was affectionately named "Camilla," and has become an unofficial mascot of NASA.
