What New Year's Eve Is Like For Cats (Video)

When it comes to the holiday season, it really gets divided into two with cats. Cats love Christmas. They may not understand it the way that we do, but they clearly find things to appreciate about it. Cats love climbing onto Christmas trees because omg and tree and shiny. Cats like playing with the gift boxes and wrapping paper. Cats like getting cozy and cuddled up next to the trees and the fire. They love Christmas, but New Years… is a different story. Lots of excitement, lots of fireworks, lots of- everything, too much. New Years, from the perspective of a cat, is not as fabulous as it is from our perspective, and Tracy Thorne, our resident singing cat lady, understands that purrfectly.
