My wife and I are obsessive toy collectors. We have a lot of our old childhood toys that we've dragged from apartment to apartment throughout our lives, along with a huge collection of new toys that we bought every time we passed a toy store and just couldn't stop ourselves from purchasing. We just love toys. The ironic thing is that our kids have no idea how good they have it. Their room has always been practically overflowing with all kinds of toys, action figures, and board games, but when they get home from school, they don't even glance at the toys—they go straight to the computer to play more Roblox.
Even the youngest one, who still has an overdeveloped imagination and likes to build elaborate stories and scenarios in his mind, does it with everyday objects representing the different roles instead of the hundreds of toys and action figures he has at his disposal.
