It sounds like Dave had it coming! After shrugging off a series of complaints from his neighbor about playing loud music well into the middle of the night, it was time for Dave's comeuppance.

The Redditor who shared this story first made it known that he tried his best to be polite and understanding when he voiced his concerns to Dave, to no avail. Dave laughed it off and made it seem like it wasn't his problem. It's the laugh that definitely triggered something in the Redditor. When he learned that Dave was going to be hosting a party and would likely play his music even louder than normal, the Redditor hatched a plan and hooked up his portable speaker to play a series of distracting and discordant noises on a loop to sabotage the party.
