‘Free Kittens’: Kids Taking the Trash Out Find Box of Abandoned Kittens with Tragic Note, Adopt Odd-One-Out and Find a Home for the Rest

Most sane people can agree that kittens are adorable. They are fluffy, itty bitty, and make squeaks that will melt your heart. Not to mention how confident they are even though they are so adorably clumsy. So how is it that so often you can find some abandoned on the street? There are shelters and organizations a' plenty out there dedicated to helping out the kitties of the world. It breaks the heart of any animal lover every time they see kittens left to the elements. But, luckily, the world isn't all evil and there are people out there willing to take in these abandoned babies whenever needed.

For example, this family who recently posted on TikTok. They told their boys to do their regular chores and take the trash out when the kids came back in saying they saw a strange box on the side of the road. The parents went outside to check things out and found a heartbreaking scene…

On the side of the road, discarded like trash, was a box that read “free kittens.” The dad approached it and, sure enough, there were 4 scared and hungry little kittens meowing for help. Also written on the box was a note saying that the kittens came from a stray that gave birth to them under someone's porch, but that person couldn't afford to care for them. It's hard to be empathetic in these situations since there are so many free and helpful ways these kittens could have been cared for. But we have to concentrate on the good!

The family who found the “free kittens” immediately rescued them. They gave all of their new fluffy feline friends flea baths, fed them, and cuddled them with love. They eventually found a foster for three of the kittens, and the odd one out—the tuxedo kitten out of a litter of snowy-looking babies—became their furever cat! So, the universe acts and mysterious ways, but it really does its best with the cat distribution system. See the whole story below!
