Teenagers pillage their uncle's house after Mom finds out her 8-year-old nephew has been stealing their Legos, chaotic hilarity ensues: 'I actually had to sneak the dog back into the house before we left'

Sibling problems require sibling solutions–even after you have kids of your own. This mom weaponized her pirate-like teenagers, letting them loot her brother's house after a lazy sibling dispute turned nuclear. 

Brothers and sisters always think they're right in any given argument and as the Law of Being a Sibling states, 'One must always oppose their sibling, simply for the sake of opposition.' Now, I'm a human being, so I'm not exempt to the laws of siblingdom, and if it's going to require drastic action to prove to my sister that I'm right, you better believe I'll do whatever it takes. Like the woman in this next story…

After noticing that several of the Lego minifigures in her home were missing, this snarky mom reached out to her brother (and close friend). Knowing that her 8-year-old nephew fancied the Legos she suspected they might have 'accidentally' taken some home. Once the brother confirmed the Legos had been rehomed due to his son, the mystery was solved–but not over. He dragged his feet to return what belonged to his sister, taking what felt like forever to get back to her with her Legos. However, instead of getting mad, she got even.

    My brother and his family came for a visit last month. My kids and I play with lego and we have fun leaving little dioramas around my house. Just silly stuff like a fight between Ironman and Darth Vader on the loot llama. It's just our way of leaving Easter eggs around the house.

It was going to be 'I forgot' a few more times until it was 'Little billy is really attatched to the toys and teenagers shouldn't be playing with legos' This was a good, proportionate response.

    Mundane-Device-7094 NTA Tell your parents the biggest difference here is that you immediately returned his things instead of trying to keep them until he decided it wasn't worth it anymore. Yeah the kid shouldn't take stuff but your brothers response is the biggest issue.

    Ratchet_gurl24 An 8 year old should already be taught not to take things that aren't his. However your brother has absolutely no excuse as to keep your things that his son took. It was amazing how quickly he rectified his son's theft and his compliance, when it affected him directly. Well done
