Neighbor ‘go[es] nuts’ after years of harassing kind couple next door, surveys land to prove a point but is in for a karmic surprise when she loses 5ft of her yard
Nothing's worse than living next to an entitled individual who acts like it's their mission to make your life difficult. Even if you're the sweetest, kindest neighbor to them, they always find something to complain about that almost always ends in a heated dispute.
This is not a reflection of you—this is simply the way some people are. Once you call them out on their nonsense, they intend to follow you to the ends of the earth, critique everything you do, and refute any arguments made against their entitled behavior. It doesn't matter if you offer to help them with yard work or try to reason with them civilly. They will find a reason to complain.
That's why you stand back and let them do all the dirty work themselves. For the last few years, the couple in this story have tried to make things work between their neighbor and themselves. It started when the couple asked if the neighbor could refrain from mowing their lawn too close to their home, as the noise was a bother. The neighbor starts a feud from there and goes so far as to get the land surveyed so she can prove to them that she's in the right.
