Sweet Orange Cat Left on the Street With Sad Adoption Note, She Gets Her Happy Ending Going From Abandoned to Adored After Being Rescued (Video)

We never get tired of adoption stories. Isn't that right, I Can Has-ers? How someone could let go of a cat after seeing their magnificence, their floofiness, and their loving, tender nature is beyond us. Don't even get us started on their tiny meows, how your heart could give up something that makes such a sweet sound we will never understand. And yet, people do it every day. But on the other hand, many people warm our hearts by healing the souls of these poor cats and kittens, showing them they deserve love, and giving them a furrever home.

This time we have a video of a sweet orange cat that was left outside in its carrier, with a bag of food and a sad adoption note. Luckily, it wasn't too long before a wholesome feline lover took notice, got the cat to the vet, and started fostering them. We can't imagine how scared and confused that poor cat must have been, but that's all in the past as they are purrfectly situated with their new hooman pawrents already.     On the one hand, at least they didn't just leave the cat outside and forget them. We're not sure if this is that much better, but at least they were noticeable and would be taken for safety. Luckily there was someone around to care for them!

    Former house cats are so often dumped on the street, and for most of us, it's incomprehensible how people can abandon their pets in this way. Circumstances change, life happens. There are challenging times when people can no longer care for their animals and have to give them up. But it's important to realize that house cats, who lack the skills needed to survive outside, are in grave danger when abandoned outdoors.     kittencampbk Flan was found abandoned on the streets of Brooklyn. The entire carrier, and poor Flan herself, reeked of cigarettes, and she had cigarette residue stuck to her fur. Imagine her confusion and fear, taken from everything familiar and left alone on the streets. At first, Flan was understandably terrified. She was tense when receiving pets and refused treats.

    condefle 20w I mean, yes they abandoned the cat, and that's bad, but they did it in a "responsibly" way, there's people who just throw their pets in the street with no consideration, of course the person who do this should not be adopting any pet never imo, but we know that it wasn't the worst way to do it.

    tazthestargazer 20w I know this is HORRIBLE and I'm teary watching it BUT I've seen way worse ways of abandonment. The carrier, the food and the note was still some level of effort at least. I've known people to dump cats in garbage trucks and on the highway. This kitty was left in a public space with a meal at least. I hope kitty finds a forever home. I'm in London or would have adopted and become a cat mum to 5!!
