Fellow followers, we have a confession: Technology is not one of our strong suits—so much so that when discussing Chat GPT about installing something, we can sense its contempt. Still, we're lucky to have been born in this era because technology works for us these days, not the other way around. Apps compete for our attention spans and swear they'll change our lives—one promises to find the love of our life, another organizes everything for us so we don't have to remember a thing, leaving us free to fill our mental capacity with cleaning advice and make-up tutorials from the third. Not too shabby!

We have to ask ourselves when will our purrfect pets enjoy this plethora of assistants. Of course, they enjoy the various apps that focus on their well-being vicariously through us, reminding us to buy food and toys for them. But maybe one day, they'll be able to do it themselves - hit a button or two, and snacks will drop directly into their bowls. If the movie The Wild Robot (recommended!) has taught us anything, it's that nature and technology can interact in miraculous ways.
