Christmas: a magical, plentiful, convivial, festive holiday. Christmas offers everything for our coveting pallets, from sentimental family time, cozy, lighthearted Christmas movies while the fireplace rolls on, to the gift of giving and receiving presents before a scrumptious, warm meal together. The best part is that it lasts from the moment Thanksgiving ends, allowing plenty of time to feel ensconced in the celebratory atmosphere. It's an important holiday for most, and an exciting day to look forward to. 

But what if you weren't invited to the holidays? Where is one to go without family on these special occasions? Well, this brings us to the Reddit thread. 

In this story, the original poster (OP) is a woman who's having holiday trouble. She's just given birth to her first child, and of course wants to have a warm celebration with the family, and introduce her baby to the holidays. All of her excitement is hindered by her sister-in-law's malicious request to omit her baby from the festivities. But you'll have to read the full story below to understand why.
