'Don't give your two weeks, just leave': Traveling supervisor forced to pay for his own flight home after putting in his two weeks' notice

When the Redditor decided to finally put in his two weeks' notice, his boss forced him to pay for his own travel to get home. Now, many folks in the comments section pointed out that the original poster (OP) should never have announced his departure from the company while he was away on a business trip. However, due to the nature of OP's work, he was almost always away from home and he was left with no other option.
