27 Introvert Memes That Accurately Depict the Desire to be Alone (November 24, 2024)
Raise your hand if you identify as being introverted. Yeah, we thought so…
There's nothing more satisfying in life than having alone time as an introvert. The peace and quiet, and endless, wishful thoughts that oscillate in your imagination, and the ability to let your voice rest for as long as you want is the comforting feeling. You never have to fake it with yourself – whether it's laughing at a joke that wasn't funny, smiling when you don't mean it, or asking someone how their weekend was when you couldn't care less. There's something so satisfying about not feeling like you owe anyone these niceties.
Of course, there are extroverts. The peanut butter to our jelly, the opposite spectrum of social encounters, where the person actually wants to talk to others! They want to engage, get to know one another, and even have the much dreaded small talk. There's something I appreciate so much about cultures who don't need to practice this nonsensical activity.
